Yesterday I was attacked in my hallway,
By an octopus with a mini-gun
I gave him my money and he swam through my brain,
He grappled with my happiness and danced on my fun
He tripped on my truth as he lunged at my love
He sprawled over where I was lying
He swore at my ego and he fought with my fears
He died fighting with my fear of dying
His body decomposed in a puddle which grew and
filled up my mind with black ink
Slowly the gun and the money were lost from my memory
Silently the octopus thinks.
